Distance Education Accrediting Commission (DEAC)
A nationally recognized accreditation for distance learning institutions in the United States. It ensures that online and remote education programs meet high standards of academic quality, integrity, and student support. DEAC is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).

Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP)
A global organization that accredits business, accounting, and business-related programs at associate, bachelor's, master's, and doctoral levels. Established in 1988, ACBSP emphasizes teaching excellence and continuous improvement in business education. ​

Recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA), ACBSP accredits over 1,200 campuses across more than 60 countries, making it a significant accrediting body in the field of business education. Its focus on teaching and learning distinguishes it from other accrediting organizations that may emphasize research

Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA)
A non-governmental organization in the United States that serves as a national advocate for academic quality through accreditation. Established in 1996 and based in Washington, D.C., CHEA represents over 3,000 degree-granting colleges and universities. Its primary role is to recognize institutional and programmatic accrediting organizations that meet established standards, thereby ensuring the quality and accountability of higher education institutions. ​

CHEA's recognition process evaluates accrediting organizations based on criteria such as academic quality, institutional integrity, and continuous improvement. This recognition is distinct from accreditation provided by the U.S. Department of Education, highlighting CHEA's role in promoting self-regulation and peer review within the higher education community

​The Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education (BPPE)
is a regulatory agency within the California Department of Consumer Affairs. Established on January 1, 2010, following the passage of the California Private Postsecondary Education Act of 2009, BPPE oversees private postsecondary educational institutions operating in California.
